Hp pavilion G6 Quanta 12 No picture .

Hello friends.

Hp pavilion G6-1045 Motherboard ref : DA0R12MB6E0.With Graphic chip AMD.

Issue : Power On ok but no picture , only backlight ( Nothing at External )

Voltages taken :
pl 20 = 5v
pl 21 = 3v
pl 17 = +BATCHG = 0.669v
pl 14 = +1.5VSUS = 1.5v
pl 15 = +1.05V_VTT = 1.078
pl 18/19 = +VCORE = 1.1v
pl 22 = +VGA_CORE = 0.900v
pl 23 = +VGACORE_IGPU = 1.1 v
pl 24 = +1.05V = 1.1v

U5
Pin 13 = PLTRST# = 3.3v

dramrst pin 30 = 1.5v

I try Clean ME bios , try another bios ( https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...&highlight=R12 ) but still the same.

Try converting to uma same issue.

Only backlight no picture .

What to check else !

the PL22 VGA coil will be disassembled. and resistance modification

I did this conversion ,removing PL22 and shift R207 to R206..still the same...that's why i m so confused..

Did you check the LCD panel voltage in LVDS socket? Does the RAM socket have a 1.5 v RM_RST signal at 20 pins. are there voltages in the other coils? North chip HM could be problematic.

Yes , the +3VLVD /3V/VIN blight are present ; the dramrst pin 30 = 1.5v ( pin 20 !!)
I mention all this before.

Have you tried another LVDS cable, checked voltage at DISP_ON

Yes it's a basic things to do : changing screen , lvds cable.

For DISP-ON taken at Q4 :
1 = GND
2 = Disp-on = 3.3v
3 = 0.012v

First thing is to confirm if laptop is completing POST or not…

I think with PLTRST present so all the sequence is accomplited

with backlight present so all the supply is present..

i think that the Grpahic chip didn't send all the signals for pictures (Or data ).

what did i miss , any suggestion !

PLTRST# comes up before POST starts.
