Hello there, I have a Lenovo Yoga 500-14IHW laptop which seems to have issues on battery charging. Thought it was battery problem, order and replaced battery but problem remain.
I'm facing issue on board that battery was detected normally, remaining battery level can be displayed normally. When power adapter is plugged in, it says charging, after a few second, the screen goes bright and dim and non stop repeating (plugged in power connected and disconnected)until the charger is unplugged, battery charging indicator flashes every 1-2 second, battery does not charge at all.
It works totally fine on plug in power if battery was removed and with battery power, the only problem is that it does not charge the battery.
I found schematic online for Lenovo Yoga 500-14IBD , nearest model I found. I have checked on some of the chip, this model should share the same board as mine. But I still have no clue on where's wrong with my laptop, can anyone help?
