    Acer A515-51-84NJ Internal Display Issue

    Greetings to all,

    i have an Acer A515-51-84NJ which suddenly stopped the internal display to work and only external screen via HDMI working. I tested the screen and the flex to other laptop and both working fine. I also checked the mobo but didn't find any damage. Is there any way to modify bios and chose which gpu to use ? (CPU internal GPU or MOBO GPU) Is something specific that i should check in the mobo?? Does any had any similar issue?

      I already have the latest but the problem is on the post of the machine not only in the os....

        Graphic will not load if driver faulty


        Try going inside bios and switching graphic device

          There isn't such option in Bios i already checked this

            GPU supply is missing

            Heating a component around the corner
            Before converting reflow GPU but it will fail again in another five to six months

            Try Converting to Uma (Uma use CPU graphics) then you will need Uma bios too

              How can you come to the conclusion that there is a problem with the dGPU if external display works but not internal when no troubleshooting has been done? And suggest a reflow which is never the right thing to do?

                Start troubleshooting end result will be same

                Person already mentioned above tested screen and flex to other laptop and it is okay

                Maybe hdmi is interacted directly with PCH not GPU

                  We don't even know what the board model number is, if it's no backlight, no image or both, if LCD power rails are present…

                      I think fan cleaning and thermal paste maintenance can be done first, since it is cut later.
                      I'm not happy to be so strong. because it's not humanly
