    Asus-vivobook-s15 no cpu vcore

Hi, this Asus have all main voltages but no +VCCCORE.

Motherboard is a X530UN rev 2.0. (seems that there are no boardview for this model)
The chip that controls pwm signals for cpu is a qfn-52 ATK1604ACGQW.

I don't know if there is an equivalent for this controller so I will appreciate any comment about it.

Near the cpu are three .24 uH coils that have no short to gnd. (two of them have a resistance of 7.1 ohms, and the other one 4.2 ohms)

IT8995 has a high level at pin 68. (this pin used to be ALL_SYSTEM_PWRGD in other asus motherboards, and controls the enable pin for the cpu power)

I have tested other bios dumps and reprogram IT8995, but didn't solve.

It drains 490 mA. from power supply.

Can someone point me what to do in order to solve it?

    thanks.

check the mosfets at cpu... also, 490ma is a lot when laptop is off

Mosfets from cpu vcore are good, and never have pulses in its gates.

When keep power button down for a few seconds, it enters into stand-by, but in less than a second, powers-up again.

Removing coils from +vgacore the power consumption doesn't change, but removing the coil from +1.0VSUS, the 490 mA. goes down to 30 mA. (also the pch zone from cpu gets very hot with all coils in place)

I think it needs a new cpu.

Apple 820-3662 VCore shorted to ground.
        by barry101
        Hi, Would appreciate some help.
I have an Apple Late 2013 15" A1398 MacBook Pro with Logic Board 820-3662.
Get charger light but no fan spin or chime. No liquid damage.
Found PPBUS and VCORE both shorted to ground. Other rails were ok.
Removed VCORE MOSFETS U7310, U7320 and U7330. Found U7330 was in fact shorted.
With the 3 MOSFETS removed, get PPBUS and fan spin. VCORE is still hard shorted to ground (0 ohms).
Attempted voltage insertion on VCORE to locate short using bench supply set at 1.0 VDC and 4.95 Amps (max current for my...

Help identifying the function of these two coils - MSI Delta 15 (MS-15CK1)
        by Salvador Pérez
Hello everyone, I'm troubleshooting an MSI Delta 15 (MS-15CK1) motherboard, and I need help identifying the function of the two coils marked in the attached image. The laptop powers on and responds to the keyboard, but the screen does not turn on-neither the LCD nor the backlight. I've checked the main power rails, and all other coils seem to have the expected voltages:

        • 0.91V for the GPU
        • 1.7V for VRAM
        • 3.3V and 5V rails 1.8V for the BIOS
        • 0.9V for the CPU and iGPU 1.2V for the RAM

However, these two coils are not showing any voltage....

Rx580 8gb sapphire nitro+ turn off vcore randomly
        by mikzs
Hello, this is my first post, English is not my native language but I hope you understand me. I recently got a 580 that didn't turn on the typical short mosfet, as I didn't know exactly which one was short, I unsoldered them until I got the bad one out, I was able to remove the short and identify the bad mosfet, the gpu gives video again! but it has a problem that completely turns off vcore at random times or if I try to put a load on the gpu vcore drops to 0 I don't have much idea why because I don't know much about sapphire, any advice on where I could start looking or what problem it could...

Hp Lh482p 5 short 3 long short after cpu vcore mosfet replacement
        by jm942
        Hi,
My laptop went dead and after checking ,the main 19 volt power rail was shorted. After some checks i could identify that a high side vcore mosfet was shorted.
I replaced the mosfet and now the white powerled is present , fans start spinning but capslock shows the famous 5 long and 3 short code.

I checked the vcore voltages after replacement and i get for all 1.01 V so means for me that the driver is still working of the replaced shorted mosfet. On the Nvidia i measure around 0.8 V after the mosfets.
I did voltage injection on the cpu with 0.7V and i have a current...

Epox EP 85 MVP3C-M - 3.54v Vcore regardless of jumpers
        by kotel studios
        Hi,

Recently I got an Epox EP-85 MVP3C-M board from scrap. After fixing the broken caps I powered it on without CPU and the jumpers set to 60Mhz FSB and 2x multiplier.
Sadly, Vcc3 was stuck at 3.54v regardless of jumpers. Vcc2 (Vi/o I think) was also the same voltage.
So, I've returned to the original configuration I got the board in - 100Mhz FSB and 4x multiplier. Voltages haven't changed at all.
        What I've tried so far:
replace the original N-MOSFETs with beefier 60V ones for testing
Resolder the resistors near the Vcore Jumper block
        Short Vcore...
