    Acer ZRW battery now charging

    Hi good day to all the problem of this board is shorted I already remove the "PD8, PQ22, PR213" and I just make a jumper from pj2 connector Vin to PR213 pad, now the battery is not working

    Battery connected Checking voltage on pr169 reading is 800mill volt
    PC118- 19V

    PU5
    PIN 18- 800MILI VOLT
    PIN3 -18V
    PIN4- 18V
    PIN 28- 18V
    PIN 6- 2.5V
    PIN5-2.5V
    PIN 11- 2.7V
    PIN12- 3.2V
    PIN 7 -600MILIVOLT
    PIN 8 -3.3V
    PIN 9 - 3V
    PIN27- 0V
    PIN17- 800MV

    DA0ZRWMB6G0 REV G

    Idont know whats wrong on this unit

      It wont work. Why you have not replaced those components?? Dont you see PQ22,pin4 is your ACDRV. Without the gate opening of this fet, charging will be disabled.Replace all those removed components first and then observe.

              I arlredy tried to change the PQ22 but it work around 5 mins then it got broken Again there is no shorted on board but why the msofet get damage?

                  it will just work for a while the nturn off i already tried 3 pq22 a0n6414al but it just work for a minute then dead

                                      If there is no short circuit after PR213 and the BQ24780 chip is properly soldered, the operating voltages should be as in the diagram. PR5 resistance 20oHm is important.

                                          My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

                                          Hi guys,
                                          I currently trying to figure out why the laptop of my friend did not charge.
                                          It is a Acer AN515-42 (Ryzen 5 2500U), I manage to make it works on AC and battery but no charging.
                                          At first it was not working on Battery, I discovered that PQ201 was knocked off and replace it => work on battery precharged on another computer.
                                          I also checked the small resistors between PQ312 and PQ201 and even if they are ugly values are OK.
                                          My issue, when I plug the charger computer off, it drains 0.25A during few seconds with amber light on (charging) then amber light blinks...

                                          Hi all

                                          We have in a HP ProBook 445 G8 laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. When power is connected the power LED light blinks 5 times then stops. Normally HP laptops will blink this LED 10 times as it does a self test when the AC adaptor is inserted. So there must be some sort of short somewhere.

                                          The battery doesn't charge, and is erratic on the MM voltage. Bench PSU LED pulsates when the battery is connected also. So the fault must be on the charging circuit?

                                          I have gone around the board with a MM and cant find anything

                                          Windows shows the battery fine,...

                                          Hello Everyone

                                          First I must say I am trying to learn electronics. I have an Acer Nitro 5. Board is LA-861P. The laptop does not charge but when it has battery life it would power on and work fine. I have use a multimeter to check the charger and I get 19v.

                                          Input on PBQ3 mosfet is 19v but no output or very low voltage. The voltage on PCZ65 and PCZ48 is 2v and it keep dropping after putting the charger for a few second. Battery pin would give like 0.200v declining.

                                          If I put the laptop off for like 2-3 months it would start charging again but I need to do this...

                                          Hello Everyone!

                                          I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died.                                          ...
