Having no power issue, check motherboard and found no voltage at pqb11 pin 1,2,3,4, replace it but now having 17.46 v at same pin. 3.3v present at at bios chip when power button press with 3 orange blinks at power led. Helps please

HP EPK50 LA-G07EP short on +3VALWP and +1.0V_PRIMP

Hello,

Working on a board HP EPK50 LA-G07EP. Owner tried to replace LCD display without disconnecting battery. Afterwards, the notebook turns on for a few seconds and shuts off.
Mainrail looks fine, battery charges. I have +5VALWP, but that's it.
I measure short to ground (0.03Ohms) on +3VALWP and +1.0V_PRIMP.

Injecting 1v at 3A on PL1001 and PL302 only slightly warms up the cpu after several minutes.

HP 15 EPK50 LA-G07EP not starting up on battery?

Hi guys, I got an HP 15 mobo # EPK50 LA-G07EP rev 2.0 not starting up on battery? Recently the battery completely died, wouldn't hold a charge, so I used it for like 3 or 4 days until I ordered a new battery. I ordered a new "OEM" battery and replaced it. It wouldn't start with new battery, figured it was dead and plugged it up and powered it on to see that new battery was like 60% charged. So it seems It won't start on battery if it is not plugged in. It charges fine and lets me use it while not plugged in. If I use it and shut it down and try to power it back on it'll start from power...
