Identify a component from Asus R702U

Hey guys,
got an broken Asus R702U with the motherboard X705UQ. It dont start at all (no fan spin, no hard disk) only the charger led is on.

i found a short on it but cant identify a component sitting there. Have you an idea what this could be? On the 6pin chip stay "WF", but it dont look like any listed smd component with WF

Is that the only letters on the chip? the picture does'nt really show anything. Does it look like this?

it says only WF in big letters. It looks like the pic attached. All connectors are on the bottom side without a path to the sides. ridiculously small component

SMD marking is unfortunately not standardized. Your best bet would be to try finding it on the schematic. Can you try to identify the purpose of the circuit?

its pretty important, since the notebook dont power up without this chip. My best guess its a power regulator, but near impossible to find a suitable part to replace. maybe someone has a similar board and can take a look at this component?!
