Anybody familiar with Asus S55 and S56 models?

Anybody know how similar these models are? Have a physically damaged S55 and have a lead on an electrically damaged S56. Wondering if I can combine to make one usable laptop.

The lack of laptop cross reference resources makes laptop repair so difficult. But, of course, that suits the manufacturers and retailers just fine. Not so good for consumers, repair technicians and parts suppliers, however.

First identify the issue on both motherboard (with boardview .......) after that use one motherboard as donor board.
