Laptop not always turns on, fan and light is on but no picture on display. After several time restart on power button, laptop turn on and works like charm until i turns off laptop. then all over again-several time on power button turns off and on then laptop turns on. any idea?

Sounds just like when I OC'ed my 65nm Core 2 Duo and didn't enable CPU load line calibration on my Asus P5QL Pro motherboard, IIRC. Albeit the one mentioned, is ATX.
Without load line calibration, I would be required to retry for it to POST! I would just get power and fans and nothing else, until I power cycled, up to several times roughly then once I got in the OS, it was stable, IIRC, LOL.

I have this laptop here and it isn't working as expected. It has a built in GTX960 GPU but it does not appear to use it - it only gives 7 FPS in furmark
The GTX960m is visible in Windows and Speccy.

Hi, I want to ask for advice about an interesting issue I've been having with a sony vaio laptop.
Client came and said that "a desklamp touched the back of the lid while laptop was operating normally and it caused the office's circuit breaker to trip. Laptop had never turned on since".
After taking the laptop apart (checked dc adapter everythin ok), I found a faulty MOSFET on the motherboard which I replaced. Laptop managed to turn on. However, while booting it shut down. Nothing else seemed faulty and thermals were ok. Shutting down was coming at random... -

Hello Friends I have a HP Laptop model number is 15s-du1079tx
Problem is when I switch on the laptop it's getting switched on and displaying "Manufacture programing mode on" error and then showing "battery counterfeit" error and then display goes blank.
If we tried to open bios settings then it shows F10...Bios setup options and stuck there forever not opening bios settings.
If we press F9 key then it shows F9...Change boot device order and stuck there.
If we press ctrl+alt+del key on keyboard then it restart and same happenes.
