    Asus x551ma no display

    hi all

    i have a asus x551ma rev: 2
    When the phone cable is connected to the usb port of the device is turned off.
    checked a board .
    reflash bios and ec 2 and 3 time with badcap bios
    washing board .
    after flash bios system start but no display and after 10 or 15 minute fan spin,
    but no display.
    19v present
    5 v present
    3,3 v present
    1.3v ram present
    1.014 vcore present
    1.8v on pin8 ic bios present
    but 1.5 volt and 2volt on 2and 3 pin usb 2
    usb+ usb- are 1.5 and 2 volt!

    Measure the resistance on D+ and D- pins of usb port.If the resistance is low then you need to check components which are connected to the usb lines.

      D+ 79.5 ohm
      D- 79.5 ohm

      RN5207 connected to two pin and going striaght cpu
      RN5207 is 0 ohm

      ohh i know understand this device need a 1.8 programmer adapter for programm
      i haven't it

        So you programmed the chip in usual 3v socket?? If so the eeprom chip itself may be fried. So better, get a 1.8V adapter as well a new 1.8V bios chip and then flash it again. Dont experiment un-necessarily without following these two steps. A slight mistake can kill the soc.

          yes ,but i didnt know this subject, this ic bios is 1.8 volt.
          so i have be get a one of 1.8 adapter.
