Hello guys,
I've got this Asus ux31e and the fan is quite noisy at 3300 rpm, tried another fan from ebay same thing.
The temps at this rpm are around 45-55.
Any ideas how to fix that?
I am running the latest bios 214 for this model. I can see that ux31a got thermal updates on the bios version 219 but i can't find it for ux31e..

Did you try changing the thermal paste?

Has the laptop got any "Fan Control" option in Bios? If so, change it and see what will happen. In addition, it is really important to ask the laptop owner when this noisy fan started happening. I mean: after what operation on the laptop.
