For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

My issue isn't massive, but I'd like to get this solved since I'm trying to fix a friend's laptop.
A botched BIOS update by Lenovo bricked this laptop, so I used my BIOS programmer to reflash the BIOS on it and saved it from an early demise. All is good now, but the BIOS reports the S/N, MTM and UUID... -
Sorry if topic if misplaced. Have lenovo thinkpad P1 gen2 with Xeon E-2276M CPU and NVIDIA® Quadro® T1000. It is a new board replaced. Old board was P1 G1 model with i7 and it is defective. I ordered a new one with xeon, but is gen 2. Laptop case is suitable for this motherboard, with some little difference (GPU fan and subcard).Ok, ordered and replaced and GPU fan and subcard and now laptop is working fine, but serial number and UUID is unknown. Friends. I beg you to help me in this situation.
Lenovo X240 with a video problem. Native Intel drivers are not installed,
after installation, a black screen. It works with the standard Microsoft driver.
Understanding that there are problems with the video core,
I ordered a motherboard from Lenovo X250.
The laptop turns on, starts up, there is no image on the internal display.
The image is output to the external monitor.
