Compaq cq58 charging problem

I need help on this, I have compaq cq58 with charging issue, the battery charging good, but when it reached to 90% it shows not charging anymore.i checked on the bios there is no option on the battery.anyone please help on this

how long does the battery keep the laptop on, if it is charged 90%?

Have you tried a new battery?? Not charging after certain level is usually battery fault or sometimes controled by software.

once it reaches 90percent it is fine it can last for about 2 hours. I havent tried new battery

I've had this alot with Hp. Almost always battery issue
