Hello all friends i have laptop Lenovo t60 Svp password.Any body have experience remove passoword.
1:This model no have P24s08
2:I replace new chip 8356908 security ic when replace chip is blank Laptop not boot.
3:When i short scl,sda laptop hang.

Put old IC back,read the scancode and use ibm passlite .If theres a passphrase sometimes ibm passlite can`t decode the scancode , theres another tool that can called SVP_Tool .

Yes it should be ok. Any serial to ttl converter should do.

Yes, to quote from allservice "for Driven-I2C (Max232) you must insert the switches:
patcher.exe /x /d /i, then imediately
r24rf08.exe <filename> /x /d /i

SDA is 34 pin and SCL is 33
