Tesco hudl 1 tablet

Hi guys just picked this faulty tablet up basically i got it and it was dead no signs of charging etc, so i charged the battery using a charger and the tablet powers on fine but now have a issue the battery is at 90% so should take a charge ok i have tried two chargers and leads no joy and no amp draw i have replaced the usb charge port still no amp draw could it be the battery charger ic i think it maybe a

is there anyway to check the input and output of this ic before i purchase one thanks guys.

You've measured the voltages on the pins ?

i did late last night i will re measure again now i have that data sheet and post the readings i certainly have battery voltage on one pin and usb charger voltage on another i wasnt sure what other voltages i needed i guess the enable pin?

You've measured the voltages on the pins ?

with 5v usb soldered direct to the board missing out the ribbon and usb charger port now looks like its charging fine 0.47 on amp meter and as has symbol on lcd screen so i may just of had a faulty new usb charge port

pin 3 in 4.66
pin 20 vcc 4.51
pin 6 en 0.00

These readings with charger port and ribbon connected to the board so yes looks like a faulty port unless a data line issue

Update new charger port just fitted hudl 1 works fine now.
Question guys, anyone replaced just replaced the digitizer on a hudl2? i see you can buy them easily enough just no guides online? thanks

Good to see it was an easy fix with a new socket.
The digitizers are bonded to the LCD on the Hudl2.
