Re: very challenging issue! lenovo G50-80?

To give a little more insight:
This is my board type aclu3/aclu4 uma nm-a362 rev1

when you plug in charger the led lights up. you hold the power button led goes off. Press power button turns on again. If you connect the batter the battery led lights up and chargers.. It just does not post no fan, keyboard light. I checked and cleaned ram swapped it around used external display. still black screen. The only strange thing is 7volts on pin5 Pu904

Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05 startup issue
      by db80
      Hello friends,

I've been racking my brain over the past few months on the following issue:
I have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05 laptop that basically works fine as long it starts up at all.

If you shut it down, often you hear the HDD still spinning and the Power LED remains on, it only shuts down if you force it (pressing the power button for like 15 seconds).
Then, if you want to Switch it on, nothing happens, only the Power LED lights on, nothing else. If you leave it, then after like 30-60mins it turns on itself.
I tried all the common alleged „fixes“...

Lenovo P43s won't boot with internal battery connected – looking for help diagnosing battery issue
      by code share
      Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Lenovo ThinkPad P43s. The laptop does not power on when the internal battery is connected, but it works fine on AC power alone (battery disconnected). Once the battery is reconnected, the system becomes completely unresponsive — no lights, no fan spin, nothing.

Here's what I've tried so far:
      • Power/EC reset (held power button for 60 seconds with battery and AC disconnected)
      • Booted successfully on AC power only with the battery disconnected
      • Visual inspection of the battery — no swelling, burn marks, or connector damage

      Lenovo ideapad 3 15IL05 - ram issue
      by Nagyesz
      Hi all,
I've encountered an issue I've never experienced before..

The Lenovo works perfectly, it has 4gb soldered ram and an additional slot. With just the 4gb the laptop passes all tests, everything is working. However no matter what frequency or capacity of ram I add to the extra slot the display starts artifacting completely randomly in both in the bios and in win and the only solution is to shut down.

I've inspected the pins of the extra slot with a magnifying and didn't notice anything unusual. I've also tried multiple ram modules, but the issue is the same....

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen6 (NM-B48) Thunderbolt issue
      by dal00
      Hi!

My Thinkpad X1gen6 (NM-B48) have had issues with thunderbolt for over a year now. No TB3 or HDMI working and the screen randomly flickering sometimes but going away other times. As if there was a glitch in the connection.

When it was starting to fail I switched between assist mode and the non assist mode a lot because I didn't understand what was going on and some times it helped. (but really it probably made it worse by writing more to the flash) At one point when it had failed a switch like that hung the laptop with a black screen and I had to hard reset. That...
