I have a Ti Nspire CX CAS graphing calculator. I'm not sure why but for some reason it died while charging. It went completely black and won't turn on anymore.
I tried to charge it again and noticed this chip (see attached image) getting really hot in seconds. I think that that chip is fried and should be replaced, but I don't have any idea what it is. Can you help me figure out what chip is it? I think that it has something to do with power delivery. The chip gets hot if the battery is full also, but not when it's almost empty. In case it helps this calculator uses a 3.7V battery and it's charged via USB.
