Acer 5520 VGA output signal - yes, integrate LCD signal - no

Hello folks , need some help with an old Acer 5520 AMD Turion+ Nvidia MCP67.
So far , laptop is running normal except that the internal LCD not showing anything, no backlight no signal. Connected to external monitor i can use the laptop without any problem. I have test already invert and flex cable + the lcd with an other acer , all working. I`ve try to heat up the nvidia chip for 3-4 mins at 170c degrees for a test if anything will change, no result. I can see the nvidia chip working normal when connected to external monitor. What i miss and where should i check ? MOBO is ICW50 LA 3581P REV. 2 . any help will be appreciated .

The MCP67 is dead or will die anyway… Not sure it's worth your time.
You can still check for the LCDVDD 3.3V power supply on the LVDS connector, check diode voltage drop on each LVDS line, and check inverter power supply 19V.

thank you for your answer, so i got 18.8-18.9v inverter power and 3.2v power supply LCDVDD , going to check LVDS lines and will post the result

diodes are good , all 3 above 1000Ω , if that`s what i was suppose to measure

piernov is right-wastage of time with this defective mcp67 chipset. Just do a mild reflow of MCP67 and you will get display on internal lcd as well but wont last for more than a few days.

            Replace or reflow MCP-67.

no reflow. reball. after then if fail, replace

I wouldn't waste one time reballing this chip, the solder balls are most likely not the issue. The chip itself is defective anyway (NVidia chip from 2007).

Once again, i fully agree with piernov's opinion.
