Hp pavilion dv6 with no power

Please i urgently need help,a costumer brought this Hp dv6 with power issue,when you put the charger in the power jack the led light on power jack keeps blinking without laptop turning on,can any one help me with the board diagram and how to go about it please,

Is it an HP charger or a knock-off?

I've seen knock-offs burn up the laptop charger circuits.

If it's an HP, the wiring from the charger may be faulty. Usually at the plug end. There is a signal line that communicates with the laptop's charging circuit. It tells it whether or not the charger is a valid HP one and is supplying the correct power.

Could also indicate a bad battery.

Have you checked for shorted mosfet or capacitor on the mb?? Are you getting 3v/5v??
