Toshiba L755 - Powers on then shuts off.

I'm curious if this model suffers the same issues with the Tokin cap as many others did?? Difference here, the Tokin is 0D108. Not a 907 or 128 which were problematic.

Hit the button, comes on and then turns off in about 2-3 seconds. Sometimes it will post and run for 1-3 minutes and then shut off.

Maybe I'll swap it out for some tantalums and give it a go. Not working as it is :P

No change with tantalum replacement. Anyone have a boardview handy? Going blind trying to hunt down a resistor.

Try replace PQ2,PQ6 and PQ12.

Funny that you mention that .... I was looking for PQ11 and PR119, just going through to check rails first ... and I went cross eyed looking for it so I had to put it down and go work on something else. I'll check those tomorrow morning when I get in.

I'd almost swear engineers place numbers on boards just to mess with us. I'm sure there's logic to it, but I've no idea what that might be. Board views make life a lot easier when looking for things doing this day in and day out :P
