Good day.
I got few questions for you:
I got this laptop today with strange problem. When the power is connected the current draw from power supply is around 200mA (0.20A). I have both standby voltages but the strange thing is that the CPU coils are heating a bit and the voltage is 1.7V both either CPU inserted into motherboard or not.
The Lenovo IT8586 FXA chip is heating a lot but the strange part is that the CPU voltages are present on both coils even if the board is not powered on. I presume the ITE chip is bad and I have to change it.
When buying ITE chip, what about versions: FXA, FXS, EXA, EXS, CXA, CXS? Any explanation about the letters? Do I have to order the same version or I can put another one?
Any info is appreciated.
Attached are some pictures also with thermal vision.
Thank you!
