Hi guys. So i bought this laptop from the 9.99 bin at my local goodwill. the one's where they don't know if they work and can't test due to missing hardware. This one looked decently intact minus RAM which i had no issue with I figured i'd risk it. I get it home find a compatible power brick for it, i plug it in and I get two blinking orange indicator lights which i found out were from batteries 1 and 3. (yes this laptop apparently supports multiple batteries. So i am definitely getting something from the machine upon plugging it in, but when i go to flip the switch on the monitor i get nothing. I should mention that those orange lights blink a few times then go out completely, It would seem to me that that is some sort of potential error indication but I couldn't find any troubleshooting codes online. Anyway after i couldn't get it to turn on I just dug right in tearing everything apart. Removing anything else external and even removing the cmos battery to try and reset it in case there was some sort of bios corruption. I reconnected the monitor's cables since it attaches to the power switch. I get the same blinking lights depending on which battery (ies) is / are plugged in. I am still unable to get a response from the machine and at this point I've assumed something is either wrong with the motherboard, or I have a bad switch. I figured my best step is to jump the switch but am unsure how to do so on a machine like this with this type of switch. Sorry for the cruddy pic but pretty much the best I can do on my phone.

Re: Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 will not turn on
Try having ALL of the batteries disconnected and then attempt to start the computer back up.Don't buy those $10 PSU "specials". They fail, and they have taken whole computers with them.
My computer doubles as a space heater.
