• Re: Samsung UN60H6350AFXZA - No Pic

Got the same exact problem on the exact model right now.
Audio but No Visual.
Seems to me like a T-con issue, will begin with that.
Will also get the measurements to pinpoint failure.
Anybody got a good idiots guide for multimeter usage? lol
Thanks!

• Re: Sharp PN-E521 Black Screen

Hello there and thanks for your fast response.
I tested the TV with the ribbons disconnected the closest one gave me the same line on the right the farther one gave me a full black screen. Exactly similar to what happens when the T-con is fully disconnected.
I am also currently unable to test the SMD fuse I currently dont have a multi-meter.
I have a close idea as to which one it is though.
Is there a specific multi-meter you recommend?
Good day!...

• Sharp PN-E521 Black Screen

Hello everyone,

A dear friend of mine wanted me to check this massive monitor. Not even a TV it is the type you see on the airports and what not.
An information display to be exact.
Anyway Monitor turns on we can see the backlight in the back but screen remains black. Completely unresponsive only turns on and off. I also was able to see a faint discrepancy in blackness on the left side of the monitor. A lighter section from top to bottom and about 3 inches wide starting on the corner. (PICTURED)

Well I opened it right up and was quite impressed by the...

• Re: Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 will not turn on

Have you tried re-seating the ram? The HDD? Or the physical drive?
Sounds like a motherboard issue to me. :/
Good luck

• Re: Samsung UN55D7000 clicks but does not turn on

I always go with this guide by far what has helped me the most.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25810
After checking your problem it seems that you had both a bad power supply and a bad motherboard at the same time.
Were you in a thunderstorm by any chance?
Multiple component failure is usually indicative of it.
Anyway since you get back light now but no image. All it leaves is your motherboard itself.
Finally can you double check if you connected all wires correctly?...

• Re: RCA 42PA30RQ - Sound but no picture. Clicks multiple times

From a quick search on other forums it seems the problem got replaced by changing the Y-Board.

Some other individuals recommend changing both the Y and X main for it to last longer.
Good luck!

• Re: LCD TV and Monitor basic troubleshooting guides

Outstanding guides!!
Just got an element TV with white coloration. You can see menus and what not.
Will do the testing but after a very basic review of the guys my gut tells me it is possibly the Tcon board.
Thank you for your hard work!

• Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hey everyone. Amateur repair guy over here.
As many here I can't help but to feel as if I went the same path as many of you. I have been lurking the forums for quite some time but never really signed, so I'm familiar with some of the faces around.

Anyway
What started as tinkering with anything I could get my hands on eventually developed into a way to get money while in college and now. Into a small
and occasionally profitable business.
I call it a non profit for profit lol,because...
