HP g7 snowy red lcd display

Hello, here i have this HP G7 laptop with snowy red display on both lcd and external. I've tried reflowing the GPU but no dice. Any ideas on this one ?

I have another identical board with another issue, usb ports are fried.

Anyone thinks it's the GPU ? Would it be possible to do a GPU swap, or waste of time ? Thanks for any input.

Take a picture of the board. Isn't this one of those boards which have the eDP-LVDS converter on them? If so, that could be the culprit, not the GPU.

Ok, here are some pictures of the board ! If you can help fixing that i'd be quite happy, i might be dumb but i couldn't figure out where on the board could be a t-con (or lvds converter) !!

Ok, the intel HM chipset has the included graphics i guess ? Another processor won't change much, tried it.

Okay. So the failure is the gpu. Worth it to change the chip ? I got a IR preheating station and some hot air.
