Samsung tab4 SM-T230NU does not turn on

I am attempting to repair my sisters tablet

I did some searching on YouTube and found several vids showing that the tab3 has issues with the battery and by disconnecting and reconnecting it resolves the issue
But no vids on the tab4

So I took it apart the tab4 thinking its probably the same issue I touched the ribbon cable going into the connector the tablet turned on but then turned off

So I figured it was just a loose connection

When attempting to remove the cable from the connector I put to much force and removed the entire connector from the solder points on the board
    I know im an idiot

Now my soldering skills are decent but this is way to small for me to resolder
My question is can I solder a small gauge wire to the ribbon cable and solder the wire to the connection points on the board?

Your best bet is tto solder the connector back IF you didnt pull the traces off the board. Cant tell from the pic, but hopefully the solder was already cracked. Clean it up, remove the solder and resolder it with lead solder.

Clean off all the lead free solder, lead free solder is not your friend. Use wick.or solder sucker.

when soldering the connector, use 63/37 solder and lots of flux. Use very little solder, a little goes aa long way. Id just put some on the iron and lightly touch the leads.

A magnifying glass is helpful to check for solder bridges. Clean off the flux after so you can see if there are any. Some use alcohol, I use brake cleaner.
