Hi.
Does anyone have a schematic for a Samsung Galaxy S3 T999?
The phone reboots under heavy load on the internal flash chip(rom backup / flashing). It succeeds when placed in a freezer to flash. I have tested it with the CPU maxed out (no load on the flash chip) with a battery discharge program and have no problems.
So, it seems to me, to be a flaky flash chip. I assume the bga needs a reflow.
I'm thinking a few minutes in a pid controlled toaster oven could cure this. Alternately I could reflow the flash chip (if I can find it) with a hot air station. Or I could do a ghetto repair by putting pressure on the chip with some paper to hold it down.
Any ideas? Thanks!!
