This is the image of a Toshiba L775D Intel board with a good known screen and cable. I removed it from another L775 that I use at work. External video image is fine. Reflow or chip change?

Re: Is this a reflow job?
I thought that reflows were only temporary to aid in diagnosis and if a reflow worked it would indicate the need for a reball or chip change. I have done a small number of successful reflows and they were always temporary. I have done others where the video was restored but things like HDMI would not work. I've not been able to master the reball process and find buying replacement chips better for me.
