Bad trip with a ASUS K53SD !

Hello. What's happen with my ASUS K53SD ? When I plug AC, nothing appears, nothing illuminates, even when I press the On button. Idem with battery only. But 19 V is still present.

When I retire the CMOS akku (CR2032), all dsmounted (just RAM : no battery, no HDD, no DVD), then I plus the AC, it starts (without I have to press the start button), and I see ASUS logo, then directly the BIOS. Keyboard functions correctly. If I save&quit, it restarts exactly in the same way. But if I hit the start button, it turns OFF, and impossible to re-srat again, until I deplug the AC power...

What is that ? I think all regulation is good, if I can see the BIOS then :
- alim
- regulation
- keyboard
- CPU
- RAM and RAM interface

work properly.

Can it be BIOS problem ? What do you think ?

Yes . It can be bios.

I got a novatech that is doing the same way .

I never had the chance to fix it. But i suspect it was kbc to.
