Hi the battery is now showing 7.5V and the tablet will still not power up even when the AC power is connected.

capacitor that you shorted , not sitting on the ground both ends?

Means? I don't understand.. This capacitor was just for the power led. I think we shorted something that powers this capacitor and led.. like a charging IC maybe..

hi, how the repair end up going?
I have the same problem with the same tablet.
on mine, I have 3v on the power btn
on the battery connector i have
2.25(red bat wire)
2.25(red bat wire)
2.25(red bat wire)
3.0

0
GND
GND
Are these measures normal on the battery connector?
My battery outputs 7.035V i think this should be enough to boot the device or not?
What should i test next?

Hi, I have 2 of the same tablets. Both dead. I dont know what to do with them. No response in both of them. How to check if motherboard is dead?
