Dv9000 fan not spinning

Hello guys, bought off cheap a dv9000 since it was a normal GPU problem I replaced the GPU chip.
After starting it goes on but well the fan won't spin, it spins but only once when I turn it on.
5Volts are there (on the fan port), also tried with 2 different fans.

fan is controlled in one of the wires of the fan via a sensor. if it detects heating on cpu and gpu, fan will spin. speed will increase based on the heat.

try holding the heat sink. if the heat sink feels hot and still not spinning, then sensor might be at fault.

Yup I get that part, frankly the CPU is overheating while the GPU ain't (I installed windows 7 with the help of a cooling pad and installed GPU drivers normally).
What can you do about a faulty sensor?

Try updating the BIOS to latest version first. Then we'll see what we can do about the sensor and how you go measuring it to determine whether it's actually broken or something else is the issue.

Just for reference its the AMD model with the Nv7600GO. Will now do bios update and report.
Yea a simple flash fixed the situation, installed the white list removed bios works like a charm.

Before I posted here I flashed the 2009 bios version, but it didn't fix later I saw that there is the 2010 version which fixed. All in all its done, weird that this Gpu has idle temps 50C and load under 70C without any modification O.o quite happy hehe.

The 7600 is a bit cooler than the 8 series and also more reliable.

O right is this a joke? My 7600GO in idle is 40C while in full load won't pass 50C (on touch its also not hot). (Yes I tried some games no fps loss and no heat).
Is this some sort of golden chip or?
I reballed also earlier these chips but never had these temps.

Did you use a new or recovered GPU to replace it? In the new lots (2009 and later) nvidia has fixed all issues including the high power consumption, so they run much cooler than the original ones. I have experienced the same when replacing a G86-703-A2 with a G86-731-A2 in a Benq R56, the GPU refused to go over 70C even after 2 hours of continuous FurMark. And that's with the stock thermal pad.

Yep a new one, I was blown away.
With furmark not passing 55C without any mod whatsoever, fuck I am going to buy more of these :P.
Yea I changed also in the past with new GPU's but furmark not passing 55C O.o never had this one.
1st I was thinking maybe its a bad sensor but touching the heatsink its just mild warm .
Have one LG with the G86-703-A2 with undervolting and reballing I got also very good results and its not even new series.
