    What do you guys think? Having the power feed so close to the touchpad FFC connector could be causing the instability? A component that weakens over time, because this kind of thing is only reported after some time

    I'm guessing I can't just solder a choke in any of the circuts

      Is there a capacitor (ceramic) I can use to stabilize this? If you have the schematics you know where the power goes to that board that is stupidly close to where the touchpad hooks into? I don't want to have to throw these into e-cycling. They work with the exception of this one quirk. Rhyme not intended

      Ugh but I don't think I can get 10 on there without an SSD, Sandy bridge G2020 and 8GB of ram, with a new battery. Not sure it's even worth it

          you mean that mesh fiber attached to the bottom of the pad? its still there. One of them I actually have not even opened and it still does that
