    Laptop incomplete boot

    Hi
    I have a laptop which stops the boot sequence half way though. The schematic suggests the enable is missing. Could that chip be kaput or the enable not being sent or ...... What should i start looking at?

      You have not provided enough information. Laptop model and motherboard number ? ,link to schematic ? .Half way through what sequence ,where does it end ?

          Hi,

          I have this laptop for a long time, still it does it's job, like browsing, word , excel. Two years back laptop Hinge base broken but now it's damaging other parts of laptop so I tried to totally remove the embedded display cable from laptop and tried to boot only with external display monitor, but it doesn't boot and gives single beeps. BIOS checking the embedded display to be connected.
          So checked the schematics to bypass this issue.
          Found something but I don't know how to read this schematics.
