this is a build question.

i just got one with a loose keyboard,
under the keyboard is a cutout for one of the main chips.

here is the question:
is the cutout so a thermal pad can link it to the base of the keyboard???

While I have not had experience with that particular model, I can tell you I have seen this kind of design before. Usually on onboard RAM chips on older models.

reduce keyboard life generally so lead us to buy new one

may be if you use it to wipe keyboard

lol.
well the keyboard IS fucked,
i tried to clean it and it looks like new - but is internally fucked.
atleast they are cheap on ebay.
