Hi guys,
Hope you are fine.
I'm struggling to fix a small issue with one of the tablet Surface Pro 7 type 1866 i'm fixing (windows 11).
The boot time is so long (up to 5-10 minutes).
After several attempt I finally find one thing is not right (PD controller firmware is 0.0.0 it can't update to 3.6.1) under device manager I have a yellow mark, code 14 and error as decribed on picture attached.
I don't find any information regarding the error code 0x1803 (and sometimes it change to 0x1804.
In the past I have found that if the update is a success, the boot time is normal and the sharing thru the usb-c is working again.
What I have noticed so far:
I would like to know if any of you have any idea of what may-be wrong, I assume it is a software issue.
Don't hesitate to ask any information, the screen is not glued on so I can do any type of investigation for the moment (if have the right tool of course).
Have a nice day.
Hope you are fine.

What I have noticed so far:
- Usb-c works (I can attach devices and it recognize them like for a mouse as example).
- Usb negociate the 20V with power supply but don't draw any amps (I read under 0.16W consumption).
- When computer is restarted I see a update with green bar progress (quite fast in regard of the boot time).
- The defect was fixed twice before but reappear if I unplug the battery.
