Hello everyone,
I have an Acer Aspire with an AS07B61 battery. This battery is no longer working, so I disassembled it and discovered that it consists of six 18650 cells. I tried replacing them, but the BMS detects that they are not the original ones and goes into lock mode.
I then thought about resetting the chip values so that it would accept the new cells. The chip is a bq20z955, so I tried accessing it using an EV2400 and bqStudio, but it is not recognized.
Can anyone help me? How can I reset the values? I suspect that it doesn't appear in the list because it is encrypted and that I need a data flash to decrypt the chip, correct?
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Denis
