    TPS 51125 only works after cmos Reset. HP 820 g1

    Laptop will only start after cmos reset. TPS51125 does not generate 3/5 volt once you shutdown the system and try to turn it on again. Any pointers will be appreciated,

      Firstly I'd like to apologize if this was posted in the wrong forum (I'm new here )
      Recently I got an ASUS M5A78L-M LX board in a scrap lot. Saw one broken cap which I've replaced. No broken traces and missing components. While soldering a new cap a bit of solder got onto components bellow SB (opposite of the two lythic caps). Didn't see it and powered the board on.

      Hello everyone. I'm not sure if this post belongs in this section? If not, please kindly move it to right section Mod/Admin.

      I have a Gigabyte G5 KE laptop and I have forgotten the BIOS Admin password. I can enter BIOS menu but when trying to enter BIOS settings it ask for my password which I have forgotten. I can boot also in to Windows 11. I have tried to clearing CMOS by removing the CMOS battery for 10h.       I have a strange fault with this notebook, MB Nr. is
      G75A DAG75AMBAD0 REV: D

      Backlight goes on, but no picture. Caps blinking 5x long, 3x short, meaning
      "This condition indicates the embedded controller cannot reach the BIOS within the established time limit" regarding to HP
