    asus vivobook x512 problem

    hi everyone
I am repairing an asus viobook x512 which has a startup problem, I noticed that the laptop receives the voltage from the charger because it has 3.3v and 5v and that the CPU has a normal heat, the bios also has the necessary voltage, but I noticed when I put 19v from power supply, before pressing power button I have a consumption of 500ma,

if anyone has a solution or a scematic I would be grateful

Remove all power. No battery. Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance to ground of each inductor on the board. Report any low resistance measurements.

CPU heat before you press Power Button? Maybe you have a short somewhere or maybe laptop try to start…
Asus laptop will autostart if you plug ac without battery.

You need the boardview or at least a similar schΓ©matic/boardview (with same SIO model) to check SIO.
          Search with you board number.
