Lenovo Idepad 3 14ADA05 Backlight Fuse

I have trouble for 3A_32V_0497003PKRHF fuse, but I have no idea where to find one or substitute the part, I asked the local community on facebook and their answer suggested that I should jumper it or find a 0 resistor as a solution, is this safe? and what solution can I do considering that I have very little knowledge about electronics

    Thank you

    Suggest to:

    1) contact a local cell phone repair shop to request if they can replace a smd fuse that is 0402 or 0603 in size. Cake walk for any cell phone repair store.

    2) ask if they can supply the part which is a 3A rated fuse at 32v or higher. Part is less than $1 usd in single piece purchase.

    3) the original fuse blew for a reason. Therefore it should be replaced with another fuse and not be bypassed. A 0 ohm resistor may work but is acting like a poor quality fuse and will not be able to guarantee the 3A rating. That is, the 0 ohm resistor can burn out quickly because the pass through current needed by the backlight is not guaranteed on a smd resistor.

Suggest to purchase 0402 and also 0603 and even 0805 smd sized 3A 32 volts rated fuses (fast blow type) for the replacement. One will fit the pcb pads on your board. A quick internet search shows this to be 0402 size but looks larger in the pic. You have many local electronics stores in your region, phone a few to locate the part.
