Re: Urgent help needed locating LED fuse on Toshiba L750

i have the same problem with my Toshiba l755 . there's a very dark faint light that i can hardly see the image . when i plugged it to external monitor it is working fine . replaced the lcd cable and replaced the screen itself . still the same problem .. can someone please tell me where could be the problem . i have tested the power and the PF2 fuse they are ok . where is other fuses i can check . i appreciate the help .

p:s it was working fine till it bricked due too bad flash rom then i gave it to someone to reflash the bios . he brought it back working with no backlight .

can reflashing the bios cause this issue ?does the bios has anything to do with the led backlight being so dark .
    thanks

if there is a screen fuse on that model laptop, it will be a tiny smd type close too the screen connector on the motherboard, probably
post a picture of that area

Hy. i have same problem with my toshiba l750 - dablbdmb8e0
only that my laptop have more problems if i can say.
i have no backlight on display and if i touch lvds or aproach finger to lvds_vadj wire at the lvds connector from mbu backlight come on but image is white with straped lines, then if i press a litle on the bottom side of display it comes the image with no other problems, if i remove pressure on display or from the wire at lvds connector form mbu problems returns.
i measured tensions at lvds connector from mbu and i have:
          lcdvcc-3.35 v
          dispon_o- 3.33 v
          lvds_vadj- 0 v
          lcd_bk_power- 19.00 v

          q18-3.35 ; 3.35; 10.42

any tips what could be the problem?

i try to replace the display and a new lvds cable but same thing
