My bad for ressurrecting this old thread but i too also had a laptop with this exact graphics card. Its an msi but the weird thing is that QD9619A was causing the laptop to not turn on after removing it the thing came back to life. I figured it would work with only intel graphics but its also detecting the gtx just fine and working. Wtf is going on, anyone know why this is? It has dual QD9619A ICs and one is missing but its still working but why.

I'm having an issue with my Surface Laptop 3, and I could really use some help. I've tried everything I can think of, but my laptop just won't detect any new SSDs I install. Here's a rundown of the situation:
Problem:- My Surface Laptop 3 isn't detecting any new SSDs, including a Sabrent Rocket 2230 256GB NVMe SSD and a Dogfish 256GB M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 SSD.
- Both SSDs work fine in other laptops, so I know they are functional.
- The laptop does detect a Forsee 64GB SSD from my Steam Deck, and I can successfully install Windows on it.

So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first.
