    Inspiron 3793 LA-J081P Ram issue

    Hi all,
This laptop has the blink code 2 amber and 3 white which seems to be RAM issue.
I checked the rails, 1.2V is here, 0.6V is here, 2.5V is here.
PGOOG on Ram IC here too.
    DDR4_RST# not present.
In this scenario what do I need to check ?

Did you ever find a solution?

Same situation here. DRAMRST# not present. I don´t know where to go from here. I made made some pictures where all my findings so far are marked. Maybe someone can explain what to check next.

Check if you have CD9 cap onboard. If yes, flux and remove this cap and test again.

Flash dell virgin bios as first step as DRAMRST# can be pulled low by bios corruption.
Check resistor values out of circuit.
Else, cpu is likely to be bad.

mon2 I tried beeping it out and I guess I found the locations of CD3 and CD9 underneath the RAM slots. They´re not populated.

mcplslg123 Funny thing is I was able to revive the machine earlier by flashing a virgin bios but the fault came back after a day. I´m gonna try again but not sure what I should think about such quick "re-corruption" of the bios.
