Lid sensor location for HP Spectre 15s-fr2000

Hello, I have this HP Spectre 14-ea0023dx (wrong model number in the title) laptop with an issue. When you close the lid, the screen goes off. Then, when you open the lid the screen remains dark while the computer is still running.

I suspect the issue is with the lid sensor which I am assuming is a small magnet located in the lower part behind the screen bezel.

Could someone, please confirm this? Thanks.

The LId sensor will be on mb /power switch connector or any extension board connected with the mb. The magnet will trigger the LID switch into action. LID switch should be located very close to the area where magnet falls on the motherboard.

Hey, I found the sensor board hiding under the motherboard just above the keyboard. I used a magnet to find the spot where it would shut off the screen. Thanks for your assistance.

I guess I spoke too soon. The board was disconnected from the rest of the system. However, when a magnet is moved over the same spot, the screen goes off. Does this mean there is a secondary sensor?
