    Lenovo T14 Gen 1 Boardrepair

    Hello everybody,
    I screwed up. I managed to pretty badly damage my T14 Gen 1s Board (a NM-C931 Rev 1.0).
    I already have a parts list, I just want to make sure that the schematics I used to get the parts are the right schematics.

    Can anyone check if the schematics are correct, please? I just want to be sure, as this is the first time I have to do Board repair with SMDs.

    The schematics I used:
    https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2112521

    My list of parts that need to be replaced:
    C5102 = 1U_25V_K_X5R_0402
    C5106 = 2200P_25V_K_X7R_0201
    C5103 = 0.1U_25V_K_X5R_0201
    C5104 = 0.01U_25V_K_X7R_0201
    C5105 = 47P_25V_J_NPO_0201
    C5199 (?) = 1000P 25V K X7R 0201
    R5111 (present but possibly damaged) = 1/20W_0_5%_0201
    R5199 (?) = 1/16W_0_5%_0402
    C5128 (?) = 0.1U_6.3V_K_X5R_0201
    C5127 (?) = .1U_6.3V_K_X5R_0201
    F5103 (Fuze, possibly damaged) = 3A_32V_ERBRD3R00X
    D5103 (Shifted, possibly damaged) = RB521CM-30T2R_VMN2M-2
    C8707 (possible damage, check if present) = 100P_25V_J_NPO_0201

    If you notice that some of those parts are actually not existing in the schematics, I would love to know that. As I said, I am not very experienced with this.

    Best Regards,
    ACTwo

    What parts can be salvaged from a plasma with a damaged display panel?
    by SurrealMustard
    I recently found myself the proud owner of a later-model Samsung plasma (the PN59D7000 for those keeping score at home) whose panel was, unfortunately, damaged in transport. I'm now preparing to part it out, but am curious as to whether or not any damage would have come to any of the components by attempting to power it up with the panel being broken. I read in one Avsforum thread (for whatever that's worth 😂) that the "scan driver boards" (by which I assume he means buffer boards) could be impacted by doing so. Is that actually the case? If so, since I don't intend on selling bad...

    Unable to repair damaged PCB on Lenovo T590

    In a poorly executed attempt to re-program BIOS, I believe I knocked off SMD resistors near the BIOS chip (MACRONIX MX25L25673G) pins 1, 2 and 5. Since the resistors were low values, I attempted to make the repairs using solder blobs. I am inexperienced and the workmanship is admittedly poor. I programmed the BIOS chip with the initial firmware read I performed. In other words, I believe the BIOS firmware currently matches what it was prior to any work I performed.

    Here are my current observations.

    Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
    by acedogblast
    This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

    There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...
