Hi everyone, does anyone use this programmer "T48 TL866II Plus High speed Universal Programmer"?
I am planning to buy a programmer for my Dell Precision 7710 to re-flash the bios.

Is this the only reason to purchase this tool? If a single repair, there are much lower cost options. Share the topside markings of your flash ic or a clear pic of the same. Do you have hot air soldering tools?

Actually I could purchase new motherboard for dell precision 7710 to replace the defective one, it is easier than to repair, but I also want to learn how to fix via "programmers" tools.

Do you have hot air soldering tools?

What brand of hot air soldering tools can you recommend?

We purchased the BEST-863 model of hot air tool in 2021. Met them in person at the Hong Kong Electronic Fair and they have attended the same fairs over the past number of years. What we valued was the quality of the goods; their ongoing presence at the fairs and most of all, they say they can supply parts to service the machine if required. I think this is a clone of the Quick series hot air tool which you should also consider. Guessing that the models have improved even more since our purchase. The tool has served us well to date. You may want to also consider an underside PCB preheater if you will be working on multilayer PCBs (ie. 8L or more). Purchased this one from one of the Aliexpress stores. Factory will only sell direct if you are purchasing a few units.
