After installing windows 8 on this laptop, I have no sound, the volume icon is marked with a red sign and when you put mouse over it says "No Audio Output Device Found", I have downloaded all the neccessary drivers from acer and other sites but still no use, I have flashed the bios over and over again but didn't help. Even at device manager I can't see any uninstalled drivers and the only sound driver installed is bluetooth Audio device. Looks like there is no sound ic even on this machine, I need help...

It doesn't work, I installed win7 today and same issue "No audio output device" I think it could be the mobo.Comment
