Hi, anybody help here with a toshiba l300d. It will only boot up when you use battery and ac adapter together, then shuts down after 30 seconds. Tried all the bios settings, taken out ram modules, cleaned fan.all the usual youtube methods.also need a good schematics for this model. As i am trying as a begginer to learn about computer repairs. Any help would be much appreciated. Excellent forum for new sign ups.

if it runs for 30 seconds and starts to boot i would be looking to see if the fan is running properly and not sticking (try spinning it with something to see if its free cos just blowing it out doesnt always work) -

hi sparks.fan is not sticking.i thought it was an overheating issue renewed heatsink and thermal paste.still no joy. thanks for your reply. regards rayComment

its a tokin problem.
standard repair, just replace the tokin and you will be fineJust cook it! It's already broken.Comment
