    Samsung R60Plus: No Activity

Working on here a samsung with board model: ba41-00811a. When power button is pressed you get the blue power on light and that's it really. Did a bios reflashed and reflow of gpu but still same issue. Any pointers or a schematic?

When you say blue light, is that it? No HDD spinning up or fan spinning up?

I'd check Vcore voltage is present myself.

    Also schematic:

See the S0 section of the "power diagram" page. You want to be checking all those voltages in that column.

No HDD, no fan, no nothing.

I'll see what I can find and report back.

P3.3V is used to drive the power LED and P5.0V is used (in conjunction with P3.3V) to power the HDD, Fan etc. Take a look at the the switched power on circuit on page 43, I'm betting P5.0V is missing.

Looking at the power sequence diagram it is generated by the AP4435GM and powers KBC, DDR2, everything really.

EDIT: Just checked and it looks like P3.3V powers the fan too. But P5.0V does power the thermal sensor so that may be it. Eitherway page 43 is a good place to start.

Hi. I have replaced AP4435GM (Q543) and same thing.
Do you think Q600 - Q602 has anything to do with this issue?
