    [help] acer zg5 completely dead

    hi to all guys! i've an acer netbook called zg5 (aoa110) completely dead!i'm not very good in electronic so i would like to have your help. power supply is ok. i've soldered a brand new power jack but nothing. all components seems ok to my view. i've found this

    he talks about a diode call "pj87 IV"..i've not found it but i've found an "pj83" that soldered and unsoldered give me continuity..there is another pj83 that hasn't continuity...so what should i do? i don't know what is it! could you help me?

      when you say completely dead, no light lit at all from the netbooks LED?

              check first with a battery.. did you check the picofuse? mosfets?

                  Hello, I have an Acer veriton n4670GT that, due to a fall to the ground, only started if I did a BIOS reset.
                  The power button ar ok, and when power off windows, then if press power button, this power on, but goes to boot loop, like press power button forever

                  It crossed my mind to try a BIOS update and when I finished it turned off and no longer starts in any way.
                  I have a flash programmer, but the file you download from the Acer website has a .CAP extension, it is not a .BIN

                  I have programmed it, but it still won't start, it is dead

                  Hi, I disassemble my laptop to replace the speakers, to access them, you have to remove everything including the heat sink and fan, unscrew the motherboard, lift it up a bit to access the speaker wire.
                  that was not the first time I dissasemble it, i did replace the same speaker a few year ago and I repaste it last year, so I had nothing to worry about. but when I put everything back together, its completely dead.

                  After a bit of investigating, i found one pin of the status led ribbon cable that was unglued from the cable and bend touching another pin, I bend it back at his place...
