    help

    please can someone help me here, i have toshiba satellite L40-15G i will come on and after about 2mins it will off. i have changed memory and processor but still the same. any help will be appreciated.

    have you tried a different power adapter? Are you monitoring the temps?

      This may be a temp issue
      Have you tried removing and cleaning the heatsink and fan, then check pads and put new paste on the processor

        Make sure you fully dismantle the fan as a layer of lint can build up in the fan vent completely blocking the air flow.

          I have clean the heatsink and fan but find out that the Q8000, Q8003, Q8004 AND Q 8007 read short but when remove it from board the read good I have check every where but cant find where the short is coming from. please help!!!!!

                I can see from here the chips have a few pins soldered together. Were the pins of those ICs soldered together originally?

                There's solder bridges on those pins. If you're not sure the laptop was designed like that, read what it says on the chips, search for datasheets for those parts online and see what the pins' purpose was.
                Or just risk it and remove the solder bridges and see if the laptop works afterwards.

                  I've seen those bridges on MOSFETs on a Dell board too. I think they're probably normal.

                    Those Pins are NOT SOLDERED together originally, hope it helps.
