dell inspiron 6000

it has a strange problem. sometimes no screen internal. if connect external i always get the picture. There is no cold, i reballed i915 still same. anyone faced a problem like this ? i havent found the schematics. there r some but in chinesee pages and need to regster and need forum points ..

If you have external gpu chip on your motherboard.

This case internal screen game from external gpu and external display from northbridge.

At least many cases.

page 19, i checked every component. everything is working and functional. I want to fix this, c'mon need help! there is one thing, when there is no picture internal lcd i cannot switch the graphics with fn + f8. But if internal works i can switch. So is that mean the board cant detect internal lcd ?

LCD_TST for panel control by ICH6-M and SIO
LCD_TST connect to ICH6-M pin AD20(GPO21) and Macallan pin B12 (LGPIO70) isolate by R539,R540

tomorrow i'll work on sio, i was focusing on ich before. i think i'll fix it by chnging sio. i hope i have one

Are all voltages intact? VEDID,+LCDVCC,PANEL_BKEN,+5VALW,G_PWR_SRC.

yes i have all the voltages, when i take out the mobo it works, then i put it inside again it works, then i start closing ,it works again, but finally when i close it and press power no picture but external ok. i checked everywhere but i'm missing something. no cold, reballed igp, reflowed sio, refreshed all the components solder around them.
